Additionally, PM Modi unveiled plans to construct 50-bed 'critical care blocks' in nine districts of Chhattisgarh, under the Pradhan Mantri-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM). In a bid to combat sickle cell anaemia, the Prime Minister distributed one lakh sickle cell counseling cards to the screened population under the National Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission (NSAEM).
